Insurance
Access to Care is a Core Value at Helio Health.
All persons seeking healthcare services at Helio Health, are assured that they will be served regardless of ability to pay. No one is refused service because of lack of financial means to pay. Helio Health will work with participants to provide free or discounted care to those who have no means, or limited means, to pay for their medical services (uninsured or underinsured). Discounts for essential services are available based on income and household size.
Helio Health offers a Sliding Fee Discount Program to all who are unable to pay for their services. Helio Health will base program eligibility on a person’s ability to pay and will not discriminate on the basis of an individual’s race, color, sex, national origin, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity. The Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG) are used in creating, and annually updating, the sliding fee schedule (SFS) to determine eligibility. (See chart below for our current Sliding Fee Discount Rates.)
Additionally, if you do not have health insurance, but are eligible, our certified Patient Navigators can assist you with enrollment in an insurance plan that is right for you.
