Dr. Ross Sullivan Named New Medical Director of Helio Health

Syracuse, NY― Helio Health has named Dr. Ross Sullivan as the new Medical Director of Helio Health.
“Ross personifies the behavioral health center of excellence principles we have built our care models upon, and his efforts will help us take that even further,” said Helio Health President and C.E.O. Jeremy Klemanski.
Dr. Sullivan completed his medical school education at SUNY Upstate Medical University as well as his residency in Emergency Medicine. He completed a medical toxicology fellowship the SUNY Upstate Poison Control Center and SUNY Upstate Emergency Department. Dr. Sullivan is also board certified in Addiction Medicine.
In addition to being Helio Health’s Medical Director, Dr. Sullivan is also the Medical Director of Medical Toxicology and the Fellowship Director of the Medical Toxicology Fellowship at SUNY Upstate and the Director of the Upstate Emergency Medicine Opioid Bridge Clinic.

Dr. Sullivan is a member of the Medical Advisory Panel to OASAS, the Department of Health buprenorphine work group, and Co-Chair of the Health Care Provider subcommittee of the Onondaga County Task force. Dr. Sullivan is also a contributor to “Modernizing Addiction Treatment Protocol: Emergency Departments as a Point of Care,” a document put together by the Office of National Drug Control Policy, part of the Executive Office of the President.
